Do you think that we still live in a "patriarchal" society...?

Cosmopolitan is a stupid magazine for stupid women. I'd be more inclined to look at the way the parents raised their girls.. Is the mother too invested dependent on her husband? Or maybe it's the way the media portrays women? I don't really know as I have never thought this way. In terms of the patriarchy, it depends what society you're referring to... For some, the patriarchy is definitely a valid issue but for western women it is not too much of a problem. As long as I can get an education, a job and vote, i'm happy. Everything else I can just do my best to ignore. I feel badly for women living in some middle eastern countries, they're basically prisoners.
