Is there a permanent lock for the LG cosmo touch? (Verizon)?

I just got the LG Cosmo Touch through Verizon Wireless and I wanted to set a permanent lock on it.. I want it to lock every time I push the lock button, I dont want to have to go to settings--->Security----> Phone lock----> Lock phone now, Every single time. Is there any way? If you dont know what Im talking about, then EX) The Iphone. You push the lock button up top and it locks so u have to enter a password every time. Can my phone do that? How?
