Should I get a smartphone?

I have the EnV3, it keeps glitching, and I can get an upgrade. I have verizon, and they make very little non smartphone phones nowadays. I really only use my phone to txt, and I text alot. So should I get a smartphone? I would use the online functionalities, but I can live without them. However I don't like any if the new non smartphone phones that are being made, like the of cosmo. What should I do?
