Mandarin Oriental or Cosmopolitan?

Looking at going to Las Vegas at the beginning of October and want to try out the City Centre complex. The two options I've been looking at are the city room at Cosmo or the Strip view room at Mandarin. With prices nearly identical I was curious if anyone had any takes on which they would choose, mostly interested in service, pools, rooms. Appreciate anything anyone can tell.
