How can I tell if my various vegetable plants are experiencing transplant shock, or if they are already dead?
I have a Russian Mamoth sunflower plant that looks fine when the sun is not shining on it, but as soon as the sun is out the leaves of the plant become very droopy, yet the stem is still green and strong. This is the same for a cherry tomato plant, romaine lettuce, bell peppers, collard greens and cosmo flower. Again, all of the plants have strong green stems except for when the sun is out, then they droop. I transplanted everything Saturday, June 11th. I even gave the plants water after they were transplanted. Do I just need to give them more time, and keep them out of the sun?
