Can i get a refund from trade school? After diagnosed anxiety/panic disorder& social phobia? Read more...?

I enrolled in a cosmetology trade school in June of 2009, I have had huge issues attending so much so that in feb. 2010 I took a 5-6 month leave, then continued to struggle and ended up leaving again at the end of march this year, I was diagnosed with anxiety/panic disorder and a social phobia, and haven't been back. I have considered a disability discharge of my loans but they are very difficult to get approved, and since my disability, I feel hinders me specifically in this field (cosmetology and the direct client interaction) the disability discharge can affect your ability to go to school for something else, which I plan and want to do, just in a field that I would prosper better in. �I can't afford to pay for this $18,000 course, and then go for something else, when there is no possibility of me even being capable of taking the state board for a cosmo license, let alone work in the industry, I am absolutely heartbroken about this situation and that I literally am throwing money away, money that I don't even have! it's bad enough I've already wasted 2 years of my life and even if I can get a refund I will have to start all over with something else. �to top it off the cosmo "school" is a joke I don't even know how people with out disabilities can do it... � �I need some good advice on how to even approach the situation, or if there is anything I can do :(
